Read moreThe initial idea was to have a paper stop-motion animated video created as an e-card. The beauty and organic nature of a paper cutout animation presented its own problems, so the Motion Media Works team proposed to create it as a 3D-animation instead, which allowed for precise control and repeatability.
With the amount of adjustment needed for lighting, speed and positioning, the 3D option was the only way this animation could have been completed with the precision require for multiple rounds of agency and client approvals.
